I’ve been biking more and more lately. Some startup people call biking the “new golf” because so many startup people end up on bikes several times a week.
Lately I’ve been riding from Westport to Bridgeport and back.

St. Mary’s by the Sea is a great place for a ride.
Captain’s Cove is pretty great! Everyone is so friendly.
Got some tasty beach shack food at Captain’s cove — I biked enough to work off the calories.
So what’s the point of this post? I think we in Fairfield County are hoarding the fact that this is a great place to live and work. We need to get the story out that we work hard and play hard and that when the weekend rolls around, there is an amazing array of recreation options open. If we look at beach town proximity as a way to judge a startup community, we are definitely in the top 5. ‘Just saying…
