Back at IBM the joke was that products weren’t released, they escaped. Nokia’s C5-03 is a solid take on the app phone, slab, touch screen universe. It just feels a little old hat at this point. Check out the demo.

Also (because I’m trying to add value here, people) note that the demo-er says her good friend’s name is Emma, but on the screen, “Emma’s” name is spelled Elisa. Just saying.

Anyway, with solid Facebook integration and a cool maps app, this Symbian app phone looks like it will certainly get the job done and we can all use alternatives to Apple and Google these days.
